She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Russell and Anna Virginia Golden (Stubblefield); her husband Charles Edward Thomas; her daughter Melodie Ann Thomas; her brother Clyde E. "Hoop" Golden; and her daughter-in-law Marsha L. Thomas.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith E. Thomas (Sandra) and Timothy B. Thomas (Carol); her grandson Sean Thomas (Kristie); her great grandchildren, Kylie and Makinlie Thomas; and her grandchildren, Tracy Deshazier (Joe), Allan Thomas (Erica), Tabrina Squires (Danny) and Breanna Thomas (Jeremy). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
