J. and Bernice Nelson; his father William Donald Stewart (Mae Stewart); his sisters, Laura Stewart of Sumter, SC and Deedra Stewart; his grandfather Coy Franklin Hicks (Trudy Hicks); his aunt Angelia Sue Harman (Charles Ratcliff); his uncle Chandler Eugene Hicks (Joan Hicks); his great-aunt Susan Harris Franklin of Berryville, VA; his great-uncle John Paul Harris of Leesburg, MS; his cousins, Harris Ford Blissett of Leesburg, MS, Chase Phares, Devin Matthew Ratcliff, Rawlings, Amber Deursch, Michael Tyler Hicks and Truman Jeffrey Mayfield; and his close friend Cindy Coleman.
