With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Frances Ashton (Cumberland, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carol leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Mullenax. She is survived by: her mother Lenora Mullenax (Evans); and her family, Elvis and Carol. She is also survived by two sisters and her three sons along with their wives.
