It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles David Andrews of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Andrews and Nelda Andrews (DeNeen). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Clauson-Andrews; his son Charles "C. J." Andrews (Savannah); his grandchildren, John Andrews and Katharine Andrews; his siblings, Kristi Casteel (Kenneth), Mark Andrews (Nancy) and Frances DeWitt (Jeremy); and his aunt Beverly Andrews. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Upchurch Funeral Homes - Cumberland (202 Greene St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (1601 Frederick St, Cumberland, MD 21502). The military honors will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
