He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Howell; his sister Marie Edwards (Bill); his children, Charles "Chuck" Howell III (Carol), Beth Howell Leake (Fred Henry) and Brian Howell (Erica); his grandchildren, Lindsay Stahl (Will), Schuyler Howell, Rebecca Howell (Nilo), Anna Howell, Claire Howell and Nathaniel Howell; his great grandchildren, Kollins and Kamryn Howell; his stepdaughters, Jeannette Dwire (Christopher Frazier), Lori Dougherty (Brian), Lisa Bender (David) and Lucy Martin (Dan); his stepgrandchildren, Blake Dwire, Sarah Green (Kale), Megan Dougherty, Andrea Bender (Chris) and AJ Bender (Abbey); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Austin. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
