She was predeceased by: her father Donald Duncan Daugherty; her husband John Leslie Groer; her brothers, Richard Lee and David Allan Daughtery; her nephew Richard Lee Daugherty II (Amy); and her grandmother Fern Machis.
She is survived by: her mother Doris Irene Long (Bolles); her brother Mark Donald Daughtery; her cousin Robin Anikas (Vince); her goddaughter Ashley; her nieces and nephews, Tammy (Keith), Jenny (late Erik), Lucas (Amanda), Mark, Brandon and Rebecca (Thomas); her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Groer (Shandy) and T. Richter; and her great-nieces, Eleeza and Emmelia Groer. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews.
