She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles May and Hilda Ruth Ziler (Robertson); her husband Ronald Deter; and her sister Patricia McNemar. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Deter (Robin) and Susan Heavner (Wayne); her sister Carol Davies; her grandchildren, Christopher "Coty" Heavner (Cindy), Jonathan "Jon" Heavner (Christa), Haley Fitzpatrick (Bradlee) and Alexis "Lexy" Heavner (Jensen); and her great grandchildren, Baylee Fitzpatrick, Bentlee Fitzpatrick and Leah Heavner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
