He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Etta Smith and Haines; his brothers, Joel, George and John; his sisters-in-law, Rosie and Sue; his niece Teresa; his nephew Justin; and his brothers-in-law, Danny Owen, Bill Greise and Cecil Seal.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lea Smith (Cutlip); and his siblings, David Smith (Inis), Carol Lee Seal and Julia Owen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
