He is survived by: his wife Shelley Smith; his children, Russell Cohn (Tanya) and Amy Goldberg (Steven); his grandsons, Aaron, Ben, Elliott, Jason, Alec and Neal; his stepchildren, Leigh Evans (Josh) and Anna Ryan (Stephen); his grandchildren, Elliot and Quinn; his siblings, Arlene Ward, James Dickman (Marilyn) and Susan Tuteur (Peter); and his sister-in-law Cathy Cohn. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, step-siblings, and a wide network of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the discretionary funds for clergy at Temple Israel.
