Elwood Eugene Glass Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elwood Eugene Glass of Cumberland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Elwood's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Elwood has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Earl Glass and Ruth Glass (Colflesh); his wife Janet E. Glass; and his grandsons, Brandon Haney and Chad Albright.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Coyle, Kay Haney (Dennis) and Eugene Glass (Donna). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren: and several great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
