He was predeceased by: his mother Dolene Jeanette Ashenfelter (Henderson); and his brother-in-law Floyd Merica. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ashenfelter (Roy); his siblings, Michael Ashenfelter, Darla Bradshaw, Karen Hedrick and Trina Dye (Roy); and his brothers-in-law, Carl Roy and Wayne Roy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
