He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Seib (Rae) and John J. Seib Sr. Fred; his wife Ramona Seib; his grandsons, Eric Mills, Timothy Nutter and John Nutter; and his siblings, Mary Brant, Agnes Dawson, Betty Mauer, Anna Jean Savonna, Wilhelmina Dye, Patricia Seib Martin, Jacob, Leo and John Seib.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Mills (Edward (J. R.)) of Keyser, Frederick Seib (Brigitte Fouche) of Hagerstown, Maryland, Mary Ritter (Melvin) of Cumberland, Maryland, Barbara Riffey (Gene) of Appomattox, Virginia, Suzanne Nutter (David) of Ridgeley and Lisa VanMeter of Osterburg, Pennsylvania.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Central Assembly of God Church (2020 Bedford St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
