He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrle Lonnie Harper and Dolly Marie Harper (Dolan); his son Gary James Harper; and his siblings, Ron Harper, Richard "Dick" Harper and Joyce Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Harper; his daughters, Deborah Fiorita (Donald), Pam Harper, Samantha Yacenech (Michael) and Crystal Teets (Daniel); his grandchildren, Brandon, Jason, Justin Opel, Cody Yacenech (Emma), Addison Hamilton and Destiney Harper; his great grandchildren, Kyra, Addie, Oakley Opel and Miles Yacenech; his niece Tina Isaacs; his brother-in-law Donald Davis; his close friend Bobby Joe Buzzard; his pet Precious; and his caregiver Sabrina Helms. He is also survived by his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
