He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wright and Margaret Wright (Brode); his wife Eleanor "Ebbie" Wright (Robinette); his son Richard "Rick" Wright; and his siblings, Joseph, Raymond Wright and Alice Crowe.

He is survived by : his children, Cathy Ford, Tom Wright (Christine) and Michael Wright (Marisa); and his siblings, Ralph Wright and Doris Hanna (Tom). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as great great grandchildren; Also numerous nieces and nephews.
