She was predeceased by: her parents, Gunnar H. Kathenes and Margaret Kathenes (McCabe). She is survived by: her significant other Susan Klein; and her siblings, Brian Kathenes (Nancy Arnot), Holle Kathenes and Sean Kathenes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
