He was predeceased by: his parents, Shannon Hoover and Tilly Hoover; his daughter Pam; his siblings, Dorothy McKenzie, Sue Leatherman, Gary and Bill Hoover; and his great grandchild Boston Butcher, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy, Debbie and Crystal; his grandchildren, Robert Butcher and Boston Butcher (Breanna Moorehead); his sister Eloise Bray (Frank); and his great grandchildren, Aria, Nickoah and Persephone. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
