He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy "Pete" Alderton and Melda Alderton (Nixon); and his sister Jill Shroyer (Alderton). He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Linda Steele (Dave) and Jennifer; his grandsons, Alex Steele and Jordan Krampf; his brother Jeffrey Alderton; his nephew Christopher Lowe; his nieces, Kristen Derry and Carly Alderton; and his close friend William Hess.
