It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Lee Kimmell of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jesse farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jesse is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Kimmell and Ethel Pearl Branson Kimmell; his siblings, George Samuel Kimmell and Edna White (William); and his son Michael Wayne Kimmell.
He is survived by: his wife Earlene Kimmell; his children, Patrick (Tina), Jeff (Molly), Sam (Tammy) and Trish; and his siblings, Mary Sawanger and Richard Kimmell (Nancy). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
