He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Jane (McDermott) and Edward E. Crippen Sr.; and his sister Julie Connelley. He is survived by: his wife Diane Crippen (Bridges); his children, Derek Philip Crippen (Jennifer) and Ryan William Crippen; his grandson Peyton Philip Crippen; his siblings, Nancy Madison and Edward Crippen (Evie); his uncle James Crites; his friends, Don and Ron Miller; and also Myers. He is also survived by extended family; and his son's.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
