Joseph Leroy West-Spicer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Leroy West-Spicer of Cumberland, Maryland, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harris and Arlene Harris (Thomas); his grandson Devin Bryant; and his siblings, Lorraine, Vincent and Marilyn.

He is survived by: his spouse Scarlet West-Spicer; his daughter Nicole Elise Spicer Artis (Joshua); the mother of his child Debra Smith; his children, Joseph Spicer, William Bryant and Kijana West; his grandchildren, Osarmuyame West and Adonis Leroy Artis; his siblings, Charles, Richard, Westley, Christine, Grace, Ernest, Lynette, Lillie May, Ricardo and William; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Burroughs and Llona Drake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
