It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Dorothy Barnes (Cumberland, Maryland), born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles B. Leibensberger and Katherine Leibensberger (Lueken); her husband William Barnes; her sons, Kevin and Kerry Barnes; and her sister Joyce E. Shirk (Leibensberger).

She is survived by : her nephews, William C. Shirk and Michael G. Shirk; and her niece Jacqueline Ward (Shirk).

A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502).
