With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian L. (Smith-Hutter) Morgan (Cumberland, Maryland), born in Wellersburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl E. Smith and Ida G. Smith (Getz); her brothers, William R. Smith and Earl E. Smith, Jr.; her former husband Alfred J. Hutter; her husband Bill; and also William F. Morgan.
She is survived by: her son Paul Hutter; her daughter-in-law Ann; her grandchildren, John Hutter (Shari), Sara Clark (Darron Jones) and Lori Thomas (Seth); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Riley Clark, Liam and Arya Hutter; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, O'Chun, Caden and Jaxon Jones. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cook Cemetery, Wellersburg PA, care of Carol Troutman 6504 Cumberland Highway, Meyersdale PA 15552.
