He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Sharpless and Norma Sharpless (Tasker); and his grandson Mitchell Morris. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sharpless (Terrant); his children, Renee Morris (Gary, Jr.) and Martin "Marty" Sharpless, Jr. (Stephanie); his grandson Matt Morris; his great grandchildren, Maverick Morris, Alayah Morris and Mazy Morris; and his brother Clark Sharpless.
