Marybelle Light Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 5, 2023, at the age of 93, Marybelle Light of Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Jackson Bageant and Lessa Bageant (Hovermale); her son John Kirby Light; her husband Dr. John P. Light; and her siblings, Harry L. Bageant, Cornelius Jackson "Pete" Bageant, Mabel, Young, Virginia Bishop and Hazel Neus.
She is survived by: her children, Joni (Tim Screen) and Chris (Tawny); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Screen (Jonathan Chalos), Zoë Light and Alex (Sniff). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Marybelle's name to First Presbyterian Church, 11 Washington St., Cumberland, MD.
