He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nelson Willison, Sr. and Margaret Willison (Griffith); his former wife Dorothy E. Willison; his daughter Karen Jane Willison; his sister Rose Ann Hillary; and his sons-in-law, Geoffrey Wheeler and Timothy Lykins.

He is survived by: his wife Leah Bohrer; his daughters, Doris Wheeler, Beverley Bassett (David), Carla Lykins and Beth Langley (John); and his brother Stephen Willison (Sandy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
