We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 81, Penelope L. Delawder of Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Amber Belle Ware (Cole); her husband Lester A. Delawder; and her siblings, Calvin Ware, William Ware (Betty), Charles Ware (Joan), Donald Ware (Phyllis), Geraldine Dick (Earl) and Betty Lou Jones (Richard).
She is survived by: her children, Brian E. Miller (Lisa), Bradley Miller (Joyce) and Chastity A. Taylor (Robert); and her grandchildren, Garrett, Patrick, Andrew, Dalton, Cydney, Robbie, Micah and Uriyah. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
