He is survived by: his stepfather Benjamin Dorsey; his wife Karen Layman (Douthitt); his son Ralph Wayne Layman, Jr. (Jennifer); his grandchildren, David Layman, Ralph Wayne Layman III, Emma Thomas (Ryley), Autumn Layman and Summer Layman; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Jack and Lennon; his nieces, Lisa Miller, Lynn Sade and Lori Bell; his nephew Glen Douthitt; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Miller and Roy Douthitt.
