He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Willard Bittinger and Stella Marie Bittinger (Cutter); his son Mark Bittinger; and his brother Melvin Bittinger. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Bittinger; his daughters, Rhonda Alderton (Mark), Karen Bittinger and Linda Winebrenner; his grandchildren, Charlie Welsh, Randy Welsh, Sean Welsh (Shayna), Andrew Winebrenner (Ginny) and Daniel Winebrenner; and his brothers, Johnny Bittinger (Marlene) and Paul Bittinger (Barbara). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
