He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Edwards and Mary Edwards (Mort); his daughter Theresa Edwards; and his brothers, Bob, Jack, Jim, Bill, Mike Edwards and Randy Kincaid.

He is survived by: his children, Richard "Shawn" Edwards (Brittany), Tiffany Lynn Edwards (Fred Lease) and Christopher Edwards (Dana); his grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Malachi, Alexis, Mia, Carter and Brooklynn; his great grandchild Remington; and his niece Tara.
