He is survived by: his siblings, Harry Deter, Jr. (Betty), Reba Robertson (Vernon) and Evelyn Rennie (Dick); his siblings-in-law, Nettie, Mathew Blacker, Tyson Tharp, Mark Blacker, Norma and Auggie Catlett; his sons, Robert Deter, Jr. (Kay) of Oldtown, MD and Jeffrey Deter (Lori) of Cumberland, MD; his grandchildren, Joe, Bobby Deter, Samantha, Curtis Deter, Johnny and Michael Blank; his great grandchildren, Nakiah Dunn, Kyra, Joseph Blank and Daryen Deter; his great great grandchild Rha'Miyah Manning; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Tharp and Sue Blacker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
