He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Powers and Betty Powers (Hartman); his wife Betty Powers (Self); his daughter Sherry Trail; and his siblings, Rusty Charles Powers and Barbara Suess.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert and Quientin Powers; his siblings, Diane Sarver, Michael Powers (Winona) and Paul David Powers; and his close friend Dottie Tippens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
