He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Granville Hawk and Elva Mae Taylor Hawk; his daughter Deborah Lynne Hawk Miller; and his siblings, Olin Terrance, Eileen Virginia Foley, Lovelle Marie Goldizen, Norma Jean Reel, Ramona June Cook, Mary Ellen Dayton, Shirley Ann Arbogast, Carolyn Sue Hammond, Conner and Paul Wendell.
He is survived by: his wife Valeria Jean Hawk; his daughter Jennifer Jean Hawk; his grandchildren, Erik Robert Miller (Leah Jill Miller) and Kara Lynne Miller-Ruggiero (Robert Michael Ruggiero); his great grandchildren, Nixon Erik Miller and Wyatt Aaron Miller; and his siblings, William Edwin Hawk, Phyllis Elaine Treadway, Frances Louise Park, Richard Allen Hawk and Patricia Lou Parks.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Allegany Soil Conservation District Martin Gordon Memorial Scholarship through Allegany College of Maryland, supporting students pursuing forestry and continuing a legacy of conservation that was so important to Ron throughout his life, or to Cresaptown United Methodist Church, P.O.
