With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronert Eugene Linaweaver of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Ison Linaweaver and Mary Elizabeth Joseph (Klosterman); his wife Helga Annitte "Anita" Linaweaver (Bohlein); and his siblings, Paul, Francis Linaweaver, Patricia Hopwood and Dolores "Boots" Mace.
He is survived by: his sons, Loy Dale Linaweaver, Robert Christopher Linaweaver and Larry Paul Linaweaver (Bessie); his stepdaughter Carol Cornelius; his grandchildren, Christopher and Devin Linaweaver; his great grandchild Kaelyn; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley and Tyler; and his siblings, Michael Elbin, Thomas Robinson, Patricia "Hope" Boyer, Charlotte Watkins, Rose Marie Lana, Midge Beachem and Anna Kelly (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A committal service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (14205 Pleasant Valley Rd NE, Flintstone, MD 21530).
