She was predeceased by: her husband Howard A. Buchanan; her parents, Dr. John Reck and Marie Reck of Sheridan, Indiana.; and her sister Leona of Indianapolis. She is survived by: her sister Virginia (John Goddard) of Los Angeles, California; her children, Beth (Gordon Miller) of Athens, Texas and John (Cathy Nevy) of Martinsburg; her granddaughters, Tori (Jon Woods) of Denver and Lisa Heffington of Ft. Myers, Florida; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Walker Woods.
