With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Royce Elmer Adams of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Adams and Mary Adams (Miller); his wife Helen M. Adams; and his sisters, Phoebe Day and Lorraine Cornell.

He is survived by: his children, Royce Allen Adams and Julie Adams (Robert Freese); his grandchildren, Chanteau and Dylan Adams; his great grandchild Abigail Adams; his siblings, Ruth Smith (Butch Mowen), Phyllis Price (Alton) and Leon Adams (Gloria); his brother-in-law Lynn Cornell; his great-niece Crustal; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Price. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
