With sadness, we share the passing of Russell Kitzmiller (Cumberland, Maryland). Russell, born on July 6, 1930 in Bloomington, Maryland, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Russell for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (930 Frederick St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Also, thank you to Dad's VA home health team, especially, RN Shay Lewis, who came to his home ever since Dad's Battle with Covid in April and his fall down the steps on his birthday on July 6th. And another thank you to our UPMC Hospice team who came and helped care and meet Dad's every need in the last days of his life.
