She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lucas Livengood, Sr. and Julia Grace Livengood (McCreary); her brothers, Russell L. Livengood, Jr. (Doris) and Ronald E. Livengood (Patricia); and her nephew Eric Livengood.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Sue Irons (Bruce); her grandsons, Jeremy Irons (Meredith) and Jonathan Irons (Alyssa); her great grandchildren, Dylan, Adalynn, Bryson and Brennan Irons; her nieces and nephews, Carole Livengood, Sandy Armstrong (Bill), Dr. John Livengood and Mark Livengood (Kathy); and her friend Tom Woods.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Shirley's name to the Union Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 1614, Cumberland, MD, or to the First Baptist Church, 212 Bedford Street, Cumberland, MD 21502.
