He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Gaus (Friend); and his grandparents, Geraldine and Van Johnson. He is survived by: his father Edward E. Gaus of Cumberland; his wife Cindy Gaus (Manges); his children, Lexi E. Gaus and Dalton V. Gaus (Lauren Verba); his brother Mark A. Gaus (Zach); his sisters-in-law, Kris Martin (Paul) and Nikki Manges; his brother Bruce L. Hill (Dana); his nieces and nephews, Emma Gaus (McKenzie), Lydia Gaus, Meleah Martin (Katelyn), Rayel Wright (Joel), Rian Wright (Dan Pirrone), Cheyenne Hill, Sean Hill and Jonah Gaus; and his great-nephew Josiah.
