He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence H. Harper and Ruth D. Harper (Humbertson); and his sisters, Dorothy Porter and Yvonne Kinser. He is survived by: his children, Walter C. Harper, Jr. and Royce Harper; and his stepdaughter Dena Bridges. He is also survived by seven step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
