With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William L. Moore of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on October 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse J. Moore and Edna Pearl Emerick Moore; and his siblings, Jack, Ernie Moore, Dorothy Marie Wakefield, Hazel Cassady, Marilyn Martin, Thelma Sheckells and Helen Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Snyder Moore; his children, William P. Moore, Grant Moore of Cumberland, MD, Carmen Flurie (Dave) of Bedford, PA, Dr. Terrance Rephann (Dina Poland Rephann) of Charlottesville, VA and Christopher Moore of Cumberland, MD; his grandchildren, Alexander Flurie (Megan Hamm) of Pittsburgh, PA, Paul Flurie (Emily) of Slidell, LA, Brittany, Jacob, Alexa Moore and Victor Moore of Cumberland, MD; his great grandchildren, Clio and Lysander Flurie Hamm of Pittsburgh, PA; and his pets, Penny and Hershey.
