He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harris and Bertha Mower; and his sisters, Nancy Jones and Lois Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Robert Mower (Tracy) and Pamela Helmstetter (Pat); his brother John Mower; and his grandchildren, Adam, Anthony, Roman, Brianne, Logan and Brady.
