Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved William Lawrence Bolinger of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 90, on July 25, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester L. Bolinger and Rhea Bolinger (Robinette); his sister Betty Jenkins; his sons-in-law, Wayne Bridges Jr. and Timothy Parker; and his friends, William Shipway (Bill) and Art Canfield.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bolinger (Diehl); his daughters, Cindi Stotler (Maryland), Donna Kirby (Pennsylvania) and Barbara Bridges (Terence Faux); his grandchildren, Andra Limbaugh (Andrew), Nina Skinner (Greg), Shannon Fowler (Rich), Kelsey Gallo (Chris), Nathan Kirby (Jenna), Aaron Kirby (Jenn), Jeremy Bridges (Devin), Brandon Stotler (Samantha) and Bradley Stotler (Maryland); and his great grandchildren, Abby, Juliana, Kaelyn, Owen, Carson, Logan and Zoey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD 21502). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Interfaith Community Food Pantry, American Cancer Society, or UPMC Western Maryland Hospice. Keep William 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
