He was predeceased by : his parents, Marie Miller (Cumisky) and William "Boots" Miller; his siblings, Gregory Miller and Mary "Boots" Miller; his stepdaughter Jody Louise Keech Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Miller and Thomas Wigger.

He is survived by : his nieces, Renee Pendergast and Alexandra Kisner; his nephew Jason Harris; his wife Dorothy Jean Miller; his daughter Jennifer Kaye Miller; his stepson Michael Joseph Keech (Heather); his grandchildren, Garet Marvin (Katie), River Keech, Nicholas Becker and Sebastian Becker; his great grandchildren, Luke, Claire and Violet Marvin; his siblings, Patricia Wigger, Theresa Fuller (Butch), Nancy Richard, Marilyn Kisner (Danny), John Miller and Norman Miller; and his cousin Bill.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maryland Veteran's Cemetery.
