With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Alton Windle of Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on September 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Luther Windle and Florence Josephine "Jo" Windle (Willis); and his wife Dianne M. Windle. He is survived by: his children, Chris Gordon (Ken) and Scott Windle (Jenna); his grandchildren, Eathan and Lili Ashenfelter; and his children, Brielle and Lennon Windle.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A masonic service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
