The memory of Robert Peterson (Damascus, Maryland), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his daughter Leslie Goodman (Delbert); his parents, Robert Peterson, Sr. and Marjorie Peterson; and his brother Ronald Peterson (Teresa). He is survived by: his wife Janis H. Peterson; his children, Jeraldine Peterson-Mark (Paul), Zachary Peterson, Tara Rosenbloom (Michael), Jessica Burgard (Stewart), James Hockenberry (Bethany) and Karyn Jacobs; and his grandchildren, Leland Mark (Julie), Jack, Griffin, Tristin of Remington and Tyson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenridge Baptist Church (21925 Frederick Rd, Boyds, MD 20841). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
