Anna Mae Virginia Seibel Obituary
Anna Mae Virginia (Hannen) Seibel, 84, of Conowingo, entered into rest on Saturday, July 19, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late John Allen Seibel, who preceded her in death on January 10, 2021. They were married on April 29, 1961, and shared nearly 60 years of life together.
Born on June 17, 1941, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Hannen and Iva Irene (Dailey) Hannen.
Anna Mae devoted her life to her family and her faith. While raising her children, she also pursued her love for quilting and worked as a skilled local seamstress at Bel Air Alterations. Her Christian faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a faithful member of Reformation Bible Church for over 40 years.
She is survived by her children: Susan O'Quinn and her husband, James, of Conowingo; James Seibel and his wife, Michelle, of Chapmansboro, Tennessee; Laurie Loughry and her husband, Kenneth, of Winchester, Virginia; and John Seibel and his wife, Mary Walko, of Edgewood, Maryland. Anna Mae was a devoted grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Matthew O'Quinn, Nicole Seibel, Caleb O'Quinn, Brandon Seibel, Abbygail McCowan, Jessica O'Quinn, Lillianne Loughry, Emily O'Quinn, Bryson Loughry, Savannah O'Quinn, Jack Loughry, Josiah Loughry, Ryan O'Quinn, Brayden O'Quinn, and Micah O'Quinn. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Tanner, Tessa, Teagyn, and Tobias O'Quinn, and Titus McGowan. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Norman Hannen, Clarence Hannen, and Leola Trumble.
A memorial service to celebrate Anna Mae's life will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Reformation Bible Church, 1736 Whiteford Road, Darlington, Maryland, 21034. Burial will be private. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements on behalf of Harkins Funeral Home.
