It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George G. Karalekas (Darlington, Maryland), born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint George leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Karalekas; his children, George, Alexandra (Mihai) and Ronan; his siblings, Stacy Calos (Andrew) and Paula Steber; his nephews, Christopher (Athena), Michael and Nicholas (Courtney); and his niece Katie. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
