It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. Smith of Darlington, Maryland, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph T. Smith and Carrie Smith (Price); and his siblings, Amy Lucille Wills, Carrie Cevis, Lena Johnson, Marian Carey, Earl Smith, Mahlon Smith, John Smith and Ralph T. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy Smith (Booker); his children, Craig Lamar Smith (Anita) of Jacobus, PA and Carla Lynette Smith of Darlington, MD.; and his grandchildren, Maya Harris of Darlington, MD, Emmanuel Gilkey, Elijah Smith of St. Louis, MO and Akaya Byers-Tobins of Jacobus, PA..
