He was predeceased by: his parents, Bledsue George Watson and Ester Halie Watson (Anderson); and his siblings, Leona Hendrix, Naomi White and Clifton Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Watson; his daughters, Tammy Murphy (Chris Murphy) and Teresa Watson (Ken Widom); his grandchildren, Nathalie Murphy, Joseph Murphy, Haley Widom, Kelsey Widom and Michael Widom; and his sister Myrtle Slade. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
