Alvin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alvin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Butler and Doris Knopp (Bowen). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Knopp; his children, Renee Knopp (Rick Husk) and Jayme Knopp (Jennifer); his grandsons, Ronnie, Travis Knopp, Shane and Brendan Ronan; and his brother Wayne Knopp.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Deale Elks Lodge (6022 Drum Point Rd, Deale, MD 20751).
